Vintage Embroidered Nurse Gown. Blue embroidered "JH" initals on lapel, "birthroom" on back. From Chicago Lying-in Hospital, a beautiful hospital finished in 1931 dedicated as "a monument to childbearing women and to the dignity of obstetrics." Size 36and made of cotton. Very rare piece of history!
