We accept collectible vintage and high-end designer clothing that feels right for The Curatorial Dept. and the current season. Standard consignment pays 40% of the selling price in store credit, issued monthly.
First-time consignors: Please request an appointment by emailing curatorialdept@gmail.com. Photos of garments, labels and condition details are helpful before your appointment.
What we’re looking for
- Collectible, distinctive vintage and contemporary designer pieces
- Items in excellent, clean condition with no significant stains, tears, holes or odors
- Pieces that suit the store’s current assortment and available space
We do not accept fast fashion. Intake is limited by season, demand and space, so even very good pieces may not be the right fit at a particular moment.
Pricing and unsold items
The Curatorial Dept. sets final prices, with consignor feedback always welcome. Items may be included in occasional sales or markdowns. Unsold pieces may be picked up by appointment after the agreed quarter or season.
We’re selective because the shop is small and actively curated. If we pass, it isn’t a referendum on your taste. We promise.
