Vintage 1970s Fong Leng Silk Pleated Wedding Dress. A simply exquisite and extremely rare find, this absolutely stunning dress makes a lasting impression. The sumptuous, heavyweight silk is a subtly sublime peacock feather self print with a sweet heart detail. The pleated body is embellished with fluted vents at the front and back waist, giving the dress beautiful shape and movement. An accordion pleated fold over neckline, fanned bodice and sleeve cap add additional lovely detail and the muted metallic gold trim lends a dazzling finishing touch. The billowed long sleeve features features a cuff closure with pearl buttons. A truly special and beautiful choice for a wedding or just being fabulous. Dress is in near pristine condition. There is a tiny, very faint pale pink stain on left sleeve at elbow, however it is hidden from sight by the folds of the sleeve. Another faint grey smudge stain on the lower rear right of dress is hidden within pleat fold. Dress is otherwise in amazing condition, especially considering its age. Made in Holland.
